Who I Am

My name is Paris Kaponis and I am an official Tour Guide licensed by the Greek Ministry of Tourism. I am a graduate of the National School of Tour Guides in Athens.

A few words about me:

1. My name is Paris Kaponis and I am an official Tour Guide licensed by the Greek Ministry of Tourism.

2. “Paris” is my name, it sounds very “frenchy” but in my case it is an ancient Homeric name! Paris of Troy was the Abductor of Helen and skilled archer who started the Trojan War.

3. I am a native Greek born and raised in Athens, therefore I am able to know in depth the history and secrets of this fascinating city.

4. Ι studied philosophy and theater, Asian studies in college and i am a graduate of the National School of Tour Guides in Athens. The versatility of my studies allows me to be knowledgeable and flexible on different fields and subjects.

5. Like Paris, the prince of Troy who abducted the Beautiful Helen, I too intend to "abduct" you with passion and fun to the world of ancient Greece, so that together we can unfold the myths, reveal the wonders and unveil the secrets of that astonishing civilization.
