Bema of Apostle Paul - Corinth

Visit Ancient Corinth at the steps of Apostle Paul, the quintessential biblical experience. Corinth's strategic location and its role as a hub of trade and commerce contributed to the spread of Christianity. This facilitated the movement of people and ideas, including the spread of Christianity. The importance of Corinth in the Bible is due to the connection between the city and the Apostle Paul. St Paul spent about eighteen months in Corinth during his second missionary journey, and both Jews and Gentiles believed his message about Jesus. These new believers became the Corinthian church, and the New Testament letters of 1 and 2 Corinthians are letters that Paul later wrote to these believers. While in Corinth, Paul met Priscilla and Aquila, fellow tentmakers who became ministry co-workers. Apostle Paul conveyed the faith to Jesus to the ancient city of Corinth in the most emphatic of ways, with a text that still inspires and moves people. According to the tradition of our church, Paul addressed the Corinthians from the bema of the Ancient Agora in Corinth, where the officials were placed so that citizens could hear them when they spoke to them. The moving Hymn to Love by Apostle Paul is among the most beautiful texts of Christianity and is part of his famous 1st Epistle to the Corinthians. “Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; hears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails”.
