What makes this tour unique

Beat the heat and the morning crowds, gaze at the Acropolis at sunset on a guided walking tour. Come face to face with 6,000 years of history as you explore the Parthenon and Theater of Dionysus. Glimpse into the past with insightful commentary as the sun melts on the horizon. As the sun slips behind the horizon, witness these ancient buildings bathed in a unique glow.
In addition to that splendor you have the option to visit before the nearby Temple of Zeus, once the largest in Greece, and it's remnants in the centre of Athens. Enter the temple like a roman emperor through the arch of Hadrian, a triumphal arch which lies in proximity to Syntagma Square, right between the Acropolis and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. That gate was constructed by the Athenians in A.D. 131, in honor of their benefactor emperor Hadrian. Immerse yourself in the grandeur of Greco-Roman civilization as the day fades away sweetly.

Step 1 - Hadrian’s Arch

This arch is still preserved in excellent condition. It is of Corinthian order and its height is 18 meters, the width 13,5m and the depth 2,3m. It is made of Pentelic marble.

Step 2 - Temple of Olympian Zeus

The Temple of Olympian Zeus is the most magnificent monument in Athens, other than the Acropolis complex of sites. It is dedicated to Zeus, the first among the Gods of the ancient Greeks, who resided at the top of Mt. Olympus.

Step 3 – Acropolis of Athens

One of the best times to visit Acropolis Hill is the last 2 hours before the closing of the site. This way, you will enjoy the sunset from the Hill, admiring the panoramic view of Athens and the sweet light of the sun caressing the white marble of the monuments.
